Well I'm back in Baghdad - safe and sound and very well rested!! Here are some pics from my trip to Dubai - will add more in the next post because they all don't seem to want to get in this entry! I had an amazing time in Dubai - one of my favorite vacations. I stayed in the city for a couple nights and did a tour around the city on a double decker bus. These pics are all from the bus tour. The first is a picture of a Mosque that allows non-muslims to go inside in an affort to promote awareness. The next is me with the famous burj hotel - thats a helicopter landing pad on the left and a restaurant on the right. It costs $250 just to go look inside the lobby and it is a SEVEN star hotel. The cheapest rooms are about $1000/night but they come with free helicopter trnasfers to/from the airport and a personal butler to unpack and pack for you. The last pic in this post is the Mecca Mall that has an indoor ski slope - thats the silver thing sticking out from the top. More in next post!
