Today was a very relaxing day. Fridays are the day off here in Baghdad so we decided we would all sleep in and just relax. Of course on the one day a week i'm allowed to sleep in i couldnt' but i stayed in bed for a while and then got up and tried to do some work. The internet was out and i couldn't print so i got back in bed & watched tv for awhile. eventually we headed out -sans PSDs - for our 1st solo adventure to the PX for supplies and to get some lunch. the food here is horrible - soooo fattening. The DFAC (mess hall) has tons of carbs and if you dont make it to a meal durig their limited hours your only options are burger king or pizza hut. we're going to have to find ways to get groceries so we can start cooking at home. the PSDs have invited us to all of their barbies so we've decided we'll start cooking for them every once in a while as well. tomorrow night (sat) is our 1st time. should be interesting. nothing to report - these posts may get father apart as we settle into a routine but i'll try to write when something interesting happens. hope all is well. miss you all!
